Activities

Woodwork / Joinery

We have two woodwork workshops; a well equipped machine shop, and a cabinet shop which as well as benches, has additional small machinery. These have been adapted to to be accessible to a wide range of trainees. Some benches and machinery are accessible to wheelchair users.
Training courses are developed and delivered to enable trainees of mixed ability to discover and develop the skills needed to produce, within a team, a range of high quality products which are available through craft events and retail channels.
Woodwork and Joinery are really about helping people to extend their capabilities and confidence. more
