The Trustees

Patrick Nagle lives in Thorndon. His main hobby is bowls and he plays a major part in his club. Patrick also loves working with wood and is a volunteer in the Woodwork Department. He has made a great impact on SFW and is responsible on the Board for Social Enterprise.
Norman Pollard lives in Gislingham. He restores furniture and has an antique shop in the village. Norman brings work experience to the Board and is also very interested in woodwork. His van comes in very useful, too!
Alan Cogdell lives in Stowmarket. He also is a bowler, playing for Thornham Magna. Alan has been involved as a Trustee for many years and has been Chairman since November 2008, with Finance and Admin being his main joint responsibilities. Alan is a keen woodcarver and turner.
Mel Easton lives in Gislingham. He is a volunteer who has made a huge difference to the woodwork department since he came to Street Forge some while ago. Mel’s Trustee responsibility is to represent the volunteers.
Myra Newell lives in Ipswich. She joined the Board in November 2008 as an independent user. Myra came to Street Forge Workshops in 2003 as part of her therapy after severe mental illness.
James Feavearyear is representing the users and has been a Trustee for over a year now. James uses his IT skills preparing financial information for the accountants, and prepares information and charts used in admin.
Lesley Mayes is our newest Trustee. She lives in Stowmarket and is a member of the Town Council. She is portfolio holder for Stowmarket and Rural Regeneration and brings many qualities and experience to the Board. Lesley was Town Mayor in 2005/06 and also serves as Councillor with Mid Suffolk District Council.
Judith St Pier lives in Gislingham. She has been involved at Street Forge as a volunteer since 2001, mainly in an admin capacity. Judith’s hobbies are theatre, bowls and anything craft-y. Her joint Trustee responsibilities are Finance and Admin.
