Woodwork Workshop Woodwork / Joinery Workshop
Our Workshop provides an area for trainees to learn new skills in all fields of woodwork. From carving to furniture making. Our workshop works as a commercial venue and good are built as customer orders or for sale in our shop.
Horticulture Horticulture
Our horticulture project has recently moved to a new venew along with all new challenges! The project now works in an abandoned kitchen garden which is not open to the public. Trainees share in a passion for being outside in the countryside.
Information Technology Information Technology
Our modern and well equipped IT department caters for users of all ability levels and offers a variety of courses to suit most fields of computing. We endeavour to find the right kinds of projects to suit our learners needs and interests.
Independant Living Independant Living
On Thursdays and Fridays Street Forge runs Independant Living courses, which, due to our facilities usually concentrate on cookery. Lessons are taught in the Kitchen and culminate with the best type of assessment possible - lunch!
Basic Skills Basic Skills
Basic skills classes at Street Forge concentrate on improving learners numeracy and literacy. Our variety of ability levels means that Basic Skills classes are aimed at the individual. Learners are able to work toward national standards in adult literacy & numeracy.
